Wood Pens & Pencils
Wood - there are so many colors and types of wood. That's what is so unique about a pen made of wood. Would you like a pen or pencil made from one of these?
-
Ancient Irish bog oak–buried in bogs on the British Isles for 4,000 or more years, but recently uncovered and now available for your pen.
-
Colonial Cypress – This wood has more than a thousand years of growth before the colonial residents of coastal South Carolina and Georgia harvested them for their strength and durability. Some fell off their barges and stayed on the bottom of the river for more than 200 years, but recently recovered and now available for your pen.
-
Thuya Burl is one of my favorites. This rare wood grows in Morocco and is harvested only at specific times. Its light and darker patterns along with dark spots makes a stunning pen.
-
Lignum Vitae is the hardest wood for purchase in the world. It's trade on the open market is limited. The colors are mild, but unique. Others will notice this classy pen!
-
You must see a beautiful writing instrument made from walnut burl, Aussie burl, English yew wood, Texas mesquite, Bethlehem or Roman olive wood, African padauk or ebony, Bolivian walnut, Bolivian coffee wood, Brazilian cherry or Burmese rosewood. And that's just the short list of woods – light or dark.
